Description
The Blueridge BR-240 Prewar Series dreadnought acoustic guitar offers musicians a vintage instrument with modern playability. Crafted with a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the BR-240 produces a warm, balanced tone with clear highs and rich lows. Its slim mahogany neck and 1.75″ nut width provide comfortable action for intricate fretwork, while the premium ebony fingerboard and bridge deliver a smooth playing surface. Nickel tuners keep the BR-240 in tune through long jam sessions or recording takes.
Vintage Materials for Authentic Tone
The BR-240’s solid Adirondack spruce top is hand-selected for its resonant, projecting qualities, which open up and improve with age. Paired with solid mahogany back and sides, a classic tonewood combination, you’ll experience the nuanced sound of a well-aged instrument right out of the box. The scalloped X-bracing, dovetail neck joint and high-gloss finish adhere strictly to prewar specifications for woody warmth and clarity.
Play All Day in Comfort
The BR-240’s slim mahogany neck and 1.75″ nut width give you a profile and spacing familiar to vintage instruments but with a modern, playable feel. The premium ebony fingerboard and bridge are smooth and durable under your fingers. With its comfortable neck and mid-sized dreadnought body, the BR-240 invites hours of playing while seated or standing.
