D’Angelico Excel 16 Archtop Electric Guitar In Amaretto Burst – Andertons Music Co

Description

The Excel 16 is a sleek, 16-inch single cutaway jazz box offered as a smaller alternative to the company’s iconic top-seller, the EXL-1 – and is designed with the gigging musician in mind. Stemming from the deepest roots of the brand’s rich history, the Excel 16 delivers undeniably punchy, woody and sweet tone that immediately recalls classic New York City jazz.Premium feelEasier to wield than its larger counterparts, the Excel 16 has a slightly shallower body depth at 2.75″ but still yields all the full-bodied warmth one desires from an archtop. A 12-inch fingerboard radius and slightly thicker C-shape neck create remarkable comfort—equal parts hefty and fast-playing.Classic toneStrapped with a Seymour Duncan full-sized 59 humbucker, enjoy classic and resonant archtop tone, with warm, woody low end and articulate mids. This makes the Excel 16 ideal for those in pursuit of bold and balanced tones that can more easily cut through in a larger band setting.SpecificationsGeneralCase: Deluxe HardshellMade In: KoreaHardwareHardware Color: GoldBridge: Floating Ebony WoodTailpiece: D’Angelico StairstepPickguard: Solid Black Scalini (5-ply)Back Plate: N/APickup Selector: N/AKnobs: 2 Mini HexagonStrap Buttons: Gold, LockingHeadstockHeadstock Shape: ThrowbackLogo Inlay: Mother of Pearl D’Angelico New York LogoSeries Inlay (Front): Mother of Pearl Excel Shield LogoSerial Number (Back): Model Name, Serial NumberBinding: 7-plyFinish: GlossHeadpin: N/ATuners: Grover 109 Rotomatic Non-Locking Tuners, GoldStrings: D’Angelico Electrozinc Jazz 12’s (12-52)Truss Rod Cover: Aluminum SkyscraperNut Width: 1 11/16” (43mm)Nut Material: Graphtech TusqNeckMaterial: 3-pieceFinish: GlossProfile: C-ShapeJoint Type: Set NeckThickness: 1F: 21mm, 12F: 23mmTruss Rod: Dual ActionFingerboardMaterial: EbonyBinding: 3-plyFretwire: Jescar 47/104 Nickel SilverScale Length: 25″Radius: 12″Top Inlay: Mother of Pearl Split BlockSide Marker: YesFret Number: 22BodyBody Shape: Single CutawayBody Style: HollowbodyBody Depth: 2.75″Body Width: 16″Color: Amaretto BurstFinish: GlossTop Material: Laminated SpruceBack Material: Laminated Flame MapleSide Material: Laminated Flame MapleBinding: 7-plyElectronicsOverview: 1 Full HumbuckerControls: 1 Volume / 1 TonePickup (Neck): Seymour Duncan DA-59Pickup (Middle): N/APickup (Bridge): N/AAdditional Pickup Info: Alnico VPots: 500kOutput Jack: Standard MonoD’Angelico Excel 16 Archtop Electric Guitar In Amaretto Burst – Andertons Music Co
