Description
The ESP LTD EC-256 Electric Guitar in Transparent Cobalt Blue offers a perfect fusion of contemporary playability and classic tone. Featuring a mahogany body with a arched top and set mahogany neck for articulate lows and singing sustain, this ax provides a sound and feel far beyond its price point. The EC-256 is equipped with dual ESP LH-150 humbuckers that deliver a warm, full tone with clarity and definition, ideal for rock, hard rock and metal. A push-pull tone pot allows you to tap into glassy single-coil tones when needed.
Mahogany Body and Neck Provide Warmth and Sustain
The EC-256 owes its rich tone to its mahogany body and 3-piece mahogany neck. Mahogany produces a warm, balanced sound with emphasized mids and lows, and the set neck design enhances sustain for searing leads and rhythms that go on for days.
Dual ESP LH-150 Humbuckers Offer Versatile Tone
The EC-256 is equipped with a pair of ESP LH-150 humbucking pickups that provide a perfect blend of output and articulation. The LH-150s offer a warm, full tone with tight lows, present mids and controlled highsideal for rock and metal. A push-pull tone pot allows you to tap into bright single-coil tones when you need extra cut and definition.
Premium Components and Construction
From the Tune-O-Matic bridge to the nickel tuners, the EC-256 features high-quality components typically found on more expensive guitars. 22 extra-jumbo frets allow for expressive, wide-ranging solos. A master volume, master tone and 3-way toggle switch provide simple but versatile control over your tone.
Stunning Looks and Playability
With a contoured double-cutaway mahogany body, the EC-256 achieves an elegant balance between comfort and rock attitude. The arched top gives this ax a stylish, upscale look. A slim U-neck profile and 12″ radius rosewood fingerboard provide a fast, low-friction playing feel so you can focus on your performance.
