Description

Manufacturer’s ID: 10008042 What we say: At A Glance: The ESP LTD Signature Alexi Laiho Ripped in Purple Fade Satin was one of the final guitar designs from the late, great guitarist that inspired so many. Through his genre-defining playing, the Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight star changed metal music forever. It contains excellent features at a modest price and skillfully combines a high degree of functionality with tasteful looks and admirable performance. Whether you are a fan of his playing or are looking for a guitar designed for metal, this is well worth your time.Features We Love:Neck-Through-Body ConstructionThis method of construction offers excellent stability and natural resonance. The 3 piece maple neck is joined with alder body wings and the results speak for themselves.Scalloped FretsFrom the 19th to the 24th frets, Alexi opted for a scalloped fingerboard. Advantages include more fluent and accurate playing plus potential tonal benefits too. Shredders will no doubt love this!EMG PickupsThis unique combination is something we really love. First of all, passive EMG pickups sound amazing. The pairing here is a humbucker and a stacked single coil, resulting in a natural sound with plenty of edge. Highlights:Ready to go the distance thanks to the great hardwarePerfect for metal guitarists looking to step up their gameA stunning signature model from a highly influential figure Specification BodyAlderNeck3 Piece MapleNeck ShapeThin UFingerboardMacassar Ebony (scalloped from frets 19-24)Scale25.5”Frets24 XJNutLockingPickupsEMG HZ S2 Passive Stacked Single Coil Neck EMG HZ F-H2 Passive Humbucker BridgeControlsVolume, 3 Way SwitchBridgeFloyd Rose 1000 TremoloTunersGroverESP LTD Signature Alexi Laiho Ripped Purple Fade Satin
