Description

ALWAYS MOVING FORWARDEver since it was first released back in 1965, the Non-Reverse Thunderbird has been THE choice for forward-looking bassists who want to make their own path and steadfastly refuse to follow the crowd. The Non-Reverse Thunderbird’s distinctive styling and huge, thunderous tone make it a standout on stage and in the studio. Now you have the opportunity to make one of these relatively rare ‘birds your own with the release of the new Gibson USA Non-Reverse Thunderbird. Equipped with a Non-Reverse mahogany body and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and 20 medium jumbo frets, each of the two Thunderbird pickups has a volume control, allowing you to use them separately or to blend them in any amount you prefer. A master tone control rounds out the simple yet highly effective control layout. The three-ply white pickguard features the iconic Thunderbird graphic. The Non-Reverse Thunderbird is equipped with a Graph Tech® nut. A three-point adjustable bridge provides a full range of adjustment for action and intonation, while Hipshot® Ultralite® tuning machines hold down the strings at the other end and deliver accurate and stable tuning while keeping headstock weight low to improve balance.SPECIFICATIONS BODYBody Style : ThunderbirdBody Shape : Non-Reverse ThunderbirdBody Material : MahoganyBody Finish : Gloss Nitrocellulose LacquerNECKProfile : RoundedScale Length : 863.6 mm / 34 inFingerboard Material : Indian RosewoodFingerboard Radius : 304.8 mm / 12 inNeck Material : MahoganyFret Count : 20Frets : Medium JumboNut Material : Graph TechNut Width : 40.64 mm / 1.6 inInlays : Acrylic DotJoint : Glued InHARDWAREFinish : ChromeBridge : 3-Point AdjustableTuning Machines : Hipshot UltralitePickguard : White 3-ply with Thunderbird GraphicTruss Rod : AdjustableTruss Rod Cover : BlackControl Knobs : Black Top Hat with Silver insertsControl Covers : BlackStrap Buttons : 2 – Bottom and ShoulderMounting Rings : Trim Ring (Lead Pickup Only)Pickup Covers : ChromeELECTRONICSNeck Pickup : Thunderbird RhythmBridge Pickup : Thunderbird LeadControls : 2 Volume, 1 Master ToneOutput Jack : 1/4″MISCELLANEOUSStrings Gauge : .045, .065, .085, .105Case : Hardshell Case Dimension Packaging Weight : 28.0 kgGIBSON NON-REVERSE THUNDERBIRD ELECTRIC BASS GUITAR – VINTAGE CHERRY
