Description
Full View Full Warm, versatile maple shell sound The Catalina Maple’s 7-ply maple shells give you a balanced sound with plenty of warmth and presence. Maple is known for its full tone and ability to cut through live mixes without sounding too sharp or brittle. Whether you’re playing jazz, rock, funk or pop, the shell construction offers the responsiveness and projection needed for confident, musical drumming. Classic Gretsch 30° bearing edge The 30° bearing edges are a signature feature on many Gretsch kits, designed to enhance warmth and sustain while keeping tuning straightforward. The rounded edge increases the contact area between the shell and head, giving a smoother, more controlled response. It’s ideal for players who want a more vintage-inspired sound or a softer, more musical tone. Reliable hardware that holds its tune Triple-flanged 2.3mm steel hoops strike a great balance between flexibility and strength. They help your drums stay in tune while giving rimshots a crisp, open tone. The chrome hardware adds extra visual polish and road-ready durability. With the included double tom holder, you’ve got everything you need to get set up quickly and securely.
