As he found himselfusing only the bridge pickup, Malcolm removed the other pickups not just for the sake of simplicity, butalso to reduce the magnetic pull on the strings to ultimately improve sustain.The single bridge pickup is a TV JonesPower’Tron, which delivers a focused mid-range with plenty of top-end bite.
