Description
The Jackson Spectra Bass JS2 offers an innovative take on a classic instrument. With its offset poplar body and dual Jackson pickups, this 4-string bass delivers a range of tones suited for any genre. The bolt-on maple neck and laurel fingerboard provide a familiar feel for swift, dexterous playing. For the bassist seeking a flexible, gig-ready instrument at an affordable price, the Spectra Bass JS2 is an ideal choice.
Powerful Jackson Pickups
The Spectra Bass JS2 features a Jackson J-style bridge pickup and P-style neck pickup, allowing for a spectrum of punchy to rounded tones. The J-style bridge pickup produces an articulate, defined sound well-suited for cutting through a mix. The P-style neck pickup provides a warmer, fuller tone with enhanced low end. A pickup blend control lets you find the perfect balance between the two.
User-Friendly Controls
Shape your tone with the volume, pickup blend, and bass boost controls. A push/pull volume control lets you engage or bypass the active circuit, ensuring you’ll never lose sound due to a drained battery. When active, the bass boost control intensifies low frequencies for a robust low end. Find your ideal settings and lock them in with the hardtail bridge.
A Stylish, Ergonomic Design
The Spectra Bass JS2’s offset poplar body provides a comfortable, balanced feel and eye-catching style. A Tobacco Burst finish, black hardware, and a unique Jackson 2×2 headstock give this bass a sleek, rock-ready look. A 12″ fingerboard radius and jumbo frets make for a fast, fluid feel. With its slim, contoured neck, the Spectra Bass JS2 enables fatigue-free playing over long sessions and gigs alike.
