Jargar Violin String Set, Heavy at

Description

Full View Full Jargar string rangeJargar offer their violin strings in three different tensions, Forte (heavy), Medium, and Dolce (light). Lighter strings respond better to the bow and are less tiring for extended periods of playing. While having a slower response, heavier strings produce a louder, more intense sound. Medium sits in between these. You should consider which will match your playing style and tonal preferences the best. Jargar also offer a G string in a “Silver Sound” variation, with silver winding. Emulating gut better, they are often combined with the standard materials for a warmer and rounder tone. This is perfect for lower strings, and are available in three tensions.About JargarJargar began in 1956 after years of experimentation by Danish cellist, Jarl Hansen, who wanted more from his cello than the gut strings he was using could provide. He developed a string with a core of steel and wound with pure or alloyed metal. Like many other string makers, Hansen realised that steel cores offered far greater stability and durability than gut and a stronger tone. These strings grew to be extremely popular amongst classical musicians and the company expanded providing for violin, viola and double bass.Strings in this set: 4/4 size E string, ball end, heavy4/4 size A string, ball end, heavy4/4 size D string, ball end, heavy4/4 size G string, ball end, heavyWhat’s at ?Sets (strings also available individually):String set, lightString set, mediumString set, heavyStrings only available individually: E string, loop end, lightE string, loop end, mediumE string, loop end, heavy SpecificationsTension: Forte (heavy)Core material (all strings): Flexible steelEnds (all strings): Ball endsWinding (all strings): Chrome steelInstrument size: 4/4String diameters: E-String: 0.27 mm A-String: 0.46 mm D-String: 0.73 mm G-String: 0.76 mmJargar Violin String Set, Heavy at
