The single ply mesh material produces a realistic spring and response seen with standard drumheads whilst keeping the decibel level to a minimum. The WHD drumheads fit standard acoustic drum shells and this pack includes all drumheads for a standard rock configuration.Suitable as an Electronic Drum TriggerThe WHD Practice Mesh Drumhead – 5 Piece Rock Pack can also be used in wider applications and can be used as electronic drum triggers. This allows drummers to expand their drum kit sound by adding the option of MIDI sounds.Low Volume DesignThe WHD range of practice cymbals has been designed to achieve a massive reduction in volume from traditional cymbals. The benefits to this are endless: you can play quietly at home or in a practice room without the worry of upsetting those around you, and it doesn’t subject your ears to extreme volumes every time you play, thus helping to preserve your hearing. The design is still authentic to a traditional cymbal in terms of feel and response; the only difference is the lack of resonance and therefore volume.ReviewsThis cymbal was awarded 4 out of 5 by Music Radar in a review of the WHD Quiet Practice Cymbal Range.”Without doubt a massive step up from plastic or rubber pads in terms of musicality, and they won’t break the bank either.”To read the review in full click hereSpecificationsPractice CymbalsCymbal Size: 14″ + 16″ + 18″Cymbal Material: Low Volume AlloyFinish: NickelPractice Mesh HeadsHead Size: 12″ + 13″ + 14″ + 16″ + 20″Mesh Thickness: 1 PlyRim: SteelTake your sound to the next level.
