Description
The Kevin Bobo Series marimba mallets feature plastic cores which are then covered in several layers of latex (or foam with 1 layer of rubber for the softest mallets), followed by red nylon. The resulting sound is focused, warm, and responsive. The mallets themselves have a meaty amount of weight behind them, allowing you to get some real volume out of the marimba. The soft mallets provide the least amount of attack sound while maximizing warmth and roundness – particularly good for the lower reaches of the instrument. Each Bobo mallet has a sturdy birch shaft.Malletech Kevin Bobo Signature Soft Marimba Mallets
