MESA/Boogie Fillmore 50 1×12″ 50W Tube Guitar Combo Amp Fawn Slub Bronco Guitar Center

Description

The MESA/Boogie Fillmore 50 combo amp has 50s-style tweed tones, ’60s-style blackface overdrive, and saturated 70s and 80s arena-rock sounds. That covers a lot of ground. It features two independent channels with three overdrive levels. Add in a full/half-power switch, spring reverb and an effects loop, and this amp really does boogie. Available now at Guitar Center, the Fillmore 50 is ideal for players who want a vintage-voiced amp with modern sculpting capabilities.

50-watt, 2-channel tube amp with full/half-power switch, 3 drive levels

Tube-driven reverb, fully buffered series FX loop

Versatile With Vintage Voices

Named after the iconic venues in New York and San Francisco, the Fillmore is full of classic sounds. It packs a pair of 6L6 tubes and 50 watts of output; a half-power switch lets you reduce the overall volume in smaller venues. Each channel has three gain stages. Clean mode produces chiming highs; you can also crank it for blackface-style breakup. Drive mode moves from clean to saturated while still retaining the top end. Hi mode maximizes sustain and compressionthink 70s crunch rhythms and 80s leads, American-style.

Spring Reverb and FX Loop

The Fillmore 50 incorporates an all-tube, long-tank spring reverb with independent controls for each channel. It also has a fully buffered series effects loop for easy adjustment of send and return levels; you’ll also be able to mix the dry and effected signal without any worries of phase cancellation.

Custom Celestion Speaker

MESA/Boogie outfits the Fillmore 50 combo with a 12″ Celestion speaker made in the U.K. The Black Shadow Custom 90 has ample headroom with a smooth top end. Bass tones are tight and focused.

Solid Construction

MESA/Boogie builds the Fillmore combo to combat the rigors of the road. It is made of marine-grade Baltic birch and is fully tuned to accentuate the tone of the amp.
The MESA/Boogie Fillmore 50 comes with a slipcover and a one-button footswitch to change channels. A reverb footswitch and cable are available separately.
