Description

Here is what Ernie Ball say about the Music Man Axis Electric Guitar in Honey Pot:”The Axis guitar is offered with a roasted, figured maple neck, 22 stainless steel frets, and 4 exciting new finishes: Honey Pot Quilt, Matcha, Charcoal Cloud and Olallieberry. The guitar retains the features that have made it a classic such as the ever-comfortable asymmetric neck shape, double-locking tremolo, and custom DiMarzio humbuckers. Available with your choice of flame or quilt maple top over a basswood body, this tonewood/pickup combination is a perfect recipe for hard edge rock tones but also delivers a subtle dynamic response at lower volume levels when needed.”SpecificationsModel: AxisSize: 12-5/8″ wide, 1-3/4″ thick, 36-1/4″ long (32.1 cm wide, 4.5 cm thick, 92.0 cm long)Body Wood: Basswood with bookmatched figured maple topBody Finish: High gloss polyesterBody Colours: Choice of flame or quilt topBody Bindings: Binding – CreamBridge: Music Man double locking tremolo with fine tuners; lowers pitch onlyScale Length: 25-1/2″ (64.8 cm)Neck Radius: 10″ (25.4 cm)Headstock Size Only: 5-7/8″ (14.9 cm) longFrets: 22 – High profile, medium width stainless steelNeck Width: 1-5/8″ (41.3 mm) at nut, 2-3/16″ (55.6 mm) at last fretNeck Wood: Roasted MapleFingerboard: Figured Roasted MapleNeck Finish: Gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blendNeck Colours: Roasted MapleTuning Machines: Schaller M6LA with pearl buttonsTruss Rod: Adjustable – no component or string removalNeck Attachment: 5 bolts – Sculpted neck joint allows smooth access to higher fretsElectronic Shielding: Graphite acrylic resin coated body cavity and aluminum lined control coverControls:500kohm volume potSwitching: 3-way toggle pickup selectorPickups: HH – 2 DiMarzio custom humbuckingLeft Handed: NoStrings: 9p-11p-16p-24w-32w-42w (RPS 9 Slinkys #2239)Music Man Axis Electric Guitar in Honey Pot Quilt
