The transition from the D string to the G string is smooth, so you won’t have to work hard to make string crossing work well. The G and C strings are made of steel rope core with a top-quality tungsten winding. This provides a pronounced core sound with excellent projection, the decay is very long and the lower frequencies are accentuated.
