Reverend Airwave 12 String Electric Guitar Midnight Black Guitar Center

Description

The Reverend Airwave 12 String electric guitar gives you shimmering 12-string tone with a shorter scale length for comfort. Equipped with a solid spruce top and korina body, this semi-hollow guitar produces articulate chime with balanced warmth. Proprietary P-90-style pickups and a treble-bleed circuit provide bright, focused tone that cuts through the mix.

Comfortable Scale Length Reduces Tension

With a 24.75″ scale length, the Airwave 12 String’s strings have lower tension so you can play barre chords and single-note runs with ease. The shorter scale also gives chords a cohesive, ringing quality as the strings resonate together. For fingerstyle, the lower action and tension make hammer-ons, pull-offs and rolls more effortless to articulate.

Solid Spruce Top and Korina Body for Resonance

The Airwave 12 String’s solid spruce top is a premium tonewood found in high-end acoustics that freely vibrates, producing shimmering highs and strong projection. Its chambered korina body has a crisp attack with balanced low end and internal bracing that enhances note separation and sustain. Together, these woods create an open, resonant voice with piano-like chime.

Crystalline Tone from 12-String Single Coils

The Airwave 12 String is equipped with a pair of proprietary 12-string single-coil pickups that produce a bright, balanced tone with chimey highs and tight low end. A three-way switch lets you select the neck pickup, bridge pickup or both pickups together for a range of tones from sparkling and crisp to full and punchy.

Premium Appointments and Style

The Airwave 12 String combines boutique quality with classic double-cutaway style. It features a korina set-neck, trapeze tailpiece, synthetic bone nut and locking tuners. Plug in the Reverend Airwave 12 String and experience premium 12-string tone and playability.
