Description

Manufacturer’s ID: 504005XCAFG What we say: At A GlanceThe Rickenbacker 4005XC 90th Anniversary Limited Edition Bass is a stunning reissue of a superb instrument. Balancing that classic Rickenbacker bass sound with the look and feel of their classic hollowbody guitars, the 4005 sports a style quite unlike any other Rickenbacker instrument that founds itself a home in the hands of bass titans like Mani and John Entwistle. It’s loaded with a pair of vintage toaster-style Rickenbacker singlecoils with their own volume and tone controls each, as well as that mysterious ‘Rickenbacker Blend pot’. This lets you finely balance the output of both pickups and is a real secret part of that iconic Ricky sound.Features We Love:Iconic SoundThe slightly shorter scale length, the body wood, the pickups, it all comes together to deliver a signature sound. The sound of a solid body Rickenbacker bass is solid, with a punchy high end and fantastic sustain. Everything you need to lay down those bass lines.Classic LooksThe 4005XC boasts a striking look that’s just all Rickenbacker. The classic Ricky bass headstock adorns the short scale neck, contrasting the wide profile hollow body more readily seen on Rickenbacker’s lauded guitars.Who Is It For?Not just fans of Rickenbacker but anyone seeking a meeting of vintage and contemporary can appreciate what is on offer here.Highlights:Classic looks with modern qualityExcellent range of vintage style Rickenbacker tonesReady for a life of touring and studio recording Specification BodyMaple Top, Back & SidesNeckMapleFingerboardRosewoodScale30.5″Frets24Pickups2x Rickenbacker VintageControls2x Volume, 2x Tone, 3-Way Toggle, Blender Control, Mono and Stereo OutputsBridgeRickenbacker Bass Bridge and TailpieceTunersChrome Open GearRickenbacker 4005XC 90th Anniversary Limited Edition Short Scale Bass Amber FireGlo
