Seymour Duncan SPH90-1B Phat Cat Bridge Pickup Gold Cover Gold Guitar Center

Description

The SPH90-1B Phat Cat is a true single-coil P90 Soapbar bridge pickup retrofitted under a humbucker cover and offering the focused mid bite and unique attack of a P-90 in an instrument routed for humbuckers. The Phat Cat pickup gives you all the authentic grit and growl youd expect from a great vintage P-90 Soapbar in the bridge position, and the authentic P-90 bounce and sparkle in the neck position. Chords have bright, ringing harmonic overtones while solos have that classic P-90 cut and edge. Two Alnico 2 bar magnets were used to provide more sustain and a compressed attack, while the metal covers provide more shielding and noise reduction than standard soapbar covers.
