Features We Love:Designed for Metal!Solar Guitar founder and YouTube celebrity Ola Englund is well known for his metal prowess. Combining decades of touring experience, he set out with the vision to create the modern guitars that can handle the most extreme styles. With unparalleled tuning stability thanks to the Evertune bridge, an ergonomic one volume, one tone and 5-way pickup selector configuration, 24 super jumbo frets and the awesome sounding high output Duncan Solar Plus pickups, if the quest was to create the ultimate gigging machine for metal, we’d say that the mission’s been accomplished!EvertuneThe Evertune bridge has been a true breakthrough in the guitar world over the last few years, especially loved by metal players where aggressive precise playing is met with running and jumping around on stage. Many factors can interfere with your guitar’s tuning, from humidity and temperature, to playing style and even how new your strings are. Evertune bridges use a patented mechanical system which remembers the string tension after you tune your guitar, once it’s set and the system is activated the guitar will never go out of tune. Changes in climate, strings stretching or general aggressive playing are all corrected by the bridge, leaving the guitar in tune in any situation.Duncan Solar PlusTaking everything that made the original Solar pickups great and dialling it up a notch. Ola Englund designed the original Solar pickups to work well with a lot of genres but they excelled at metal which was perfect for the Solar brand. The Duncan Solar plus pickups use alnico 8 magnets and are wound for even more output delivering crushing metal tones.
