Telarc – creative recording philosophy and sound quality par excellence highlights some of these extraordinary recordings and sound effects Telarc was launched in 1977 as a pure classical label. It was founded by musicians Jack Renner and Robert Woods who quickly became known for their high quality recordings and signature Telarc sound. Over time, the company amassed over 50 Grammy Awards. Telarc has enjoyed long relationships with the ‘Prince of Pops’ Erich Kunzel & Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Robert Shaw & Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Leonard Slatkin & St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Numerous legendary recordings came as a result of these relationships. Telarc: A Spectacular Sound Experience highlights some of these extraordinary recordings AND sound effects (SFX). To best transmit this musical experience, a UHQ-CD is used as sound carrier. A newly developed disc manufacturing process masks the sound quality of UHQ-CD closer to the master quality. The music sounds alive as never before.
